hi everyone. i've just finished a patch to the comments plugin that adds AJAX support. specifically, comment previewing and posting can now optionally use AJAX, as opposed to full HTTP POST requests. his avoids a full roundtrip and re-render, so commenting feels faster and more lightweight. ajax commenting is off by default. to enable it, set the comment_ajax config parameter to true. more importantly, it degrades gracefully. if javascript is disabled in the browser, or if the browser doesn't support XmlHttpRequest, it falls back to normal HTTP POST so that users can still preview and submit comments. more here: http://snarfed.org/space/pyblosxom+ajax+comments it's up and running on my site, so you can try it out on that page. -Ryan -- http://snarfed.org/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Using Tomcat but need to do more?
