For me, it contains 'http://foodfight.org/log/' - which defaults to my
HTML flavour, and which needs ?flav=atom to become an atom feed. And in
that case, $url won't contain the ?flav=atom.

I didn't know about the 'index.atom' link, but it seems to work for me
too (making that bit of the patch superfluous).

It does need the content-type updates though, to avoid encoding madness.
