You're correct that this isn't true anymore.

On a side note, I'm not really psyched about docbook--it's a pain in the 
ass to write in and I've had some problems with getting the environment 
set up to "compile" the docbook files into HTML.  I also wanted to compile 
it into PDF, but that has never worked correctly.

So while you're poking around with the manual, if you have thoughts on a 
better system for documentation, I'd be interested.
