I've written a Markdown entryparser plugin for PyBlosxom. There is another one listed in the plugin registry written by Tollef Fog Heen and online here: http://err.no/pymarkdown/ Tollef's is a few years old and, probably due to its age, has a full Markdown implementation in the module(!). Since there's already a rather nice (and nicely debugged) Python implementation of Markdown, it seems like Tollef's is no longer ideal so I quickly wrote a little entry parser plugin that uses the external python-markdown library found here: http://www.freewisdom.org/projects/python-markdown/ I've emailed Tollef to see if there's any reason that his plugin shouldn't be deprecated in favor of the new one and I'll let the list know what he thinks. In the meantime, it would be good if interested folks tried this out and let me know what they thought before I throw this out to the world (and, ideally, into contrib). Get it here temporarily: http://mako.cc/outgoing/pymarkdown.py Let me know any feedback -- even "works good" type feedback.
