Great to see active development in pyblosxom. I'm switching over from
blosxom.

I understand the idea behind pyblosxom's default flavor -- I think it is
intentionally as plain and simple as possible to make it clear how
flavors work. But maybe having no style or layout at all is too much? It
adds greatly to the time it takes to install pyblosxom, since to get an
acceptable blog you have to develop a flavor. There's not many to choose
from in the registry.

So I thought it might be nice to have a default flavor that was plain
and simple but still pleasant enough that people might use it, and could
get blogging happily right away.

I've had a go at making such a flavor (attached). It still needs a
little work but is mostly done. The basic idea was to link to the feed
flavors and to make it look nice by implementing a couple of typography
conventions I've been reading about. XHTML/CSS compliance is planned
also. Any interest in using this in pyblosxom?

You can preview the flavor here:

also a todo list if you want to help out).

Compare it to pyblosxom's current default:

Comments, suggestions, contributions would be great.

Thanks
