  Hi,

I'm using metadate.py. The links at `pyblosxom's entry`_ are dead, so
I grabbed `a copy`_ from SFLC's trac instead. I tweaked the file a
bit:

 • Use str.startswith and time.strptime instead of regexp
 • Add a optional property ``postdate_formats`` to hold a list of time
format strings
 • Fallback to original mtime if no format matches, and prints out a warning

The warning is a print statement, so I'm pretty sure I got it wrong.

_ .. pyblosxom's entry:
http://pyblosxom.sourceforge.net/blog/registry/date/metadate
_ .. a copy: http://code.softwarefreedom.org/projects/backports/browser/external/with-debian/muse/current/contrib/pyblosxom/metadate.py

I have a question: how do I debug 500 errors? For example, if I load
404.py and go to a non-existent page, I get a 500. Setting renderer to
debug doesn't escape that. I looked into my logfile, only one line::

  2007-12-19 00:53:57,891 [INFO] wbgflavourmedia: ['notfound']

 corresponds to that request :(

Any pointer is appreciated, this is costing me much time.
