Hmm, strange I installed 2.5.2 recompiled mod_python against it and  
tried again.
It is still the same problem. The latest version of comments.py in SVN  
just hangs at

if not 'num_comments' in entry:

Hmm, are you running the current SVN version of pyblosxom as well by  
any chance?
