It is still exactly the same error. My browser's encoding is UTF-8 and I
even didn't use any special characters like äöüß when testing (with two
different browsers to be sure), just tried strings like FOOBAR...
My system's encoding is en_US.UTF-8.
With the version before the last two commits I have no problems at all,
special characters are displayed correctly.

Does it work at your system?
