Something i've always pondered:
why do people care so much about dates on blogs?
i mean, many blog systems have url's like /<date>/entry.html
and PB also separates content by date (by default) on the front page,
and then those time-based selectors.

when i search for content on a blog, i always try to search by category
or tag (or even type author name + subject in google), because the
content of a post usually has no particular relation to a date.
