A question and a request

I've install pyblosxom and really like it (I was about to try to write my own Python Blosxom require and spent about a day on it before I found the project). It has all the features I'm looking for and more. But I have a question and a feature request. The question is if it would be possible, using either the static or dynamic mode to make entries restricted using the standard Apache restriction methods. So I could have a directory of entries only friends could read, or only family could read. The request is much larger. I like the simplicity in the way the entries are stored, but it's sort of HTML-centric. Has anyone looked at Structured Text as in what Zope uses and what's in the Docutils project? With this, you can write your text files in plain ASCII text with simple markup and that gets rencered into HTML, LaTeX, etc. It might be nice if pyblosxom could use that. I haven't looked into the code deeply, but it may not even be that difficult. Has anyone looked into this or similar ideas? - Serge Wroclawski ------------------------------------------------------- Enterprise Linux Forum Conference & Expo, June 4-6, 2003, Santa Clara The only event dedicated to issues related to Linux enterprise solutions www.enterpriselinuxforum.com
