I'm not sure what makes you think it's an API issue.  It's in the parse 
function of genericwiki--nothing we've done would affect that.  I think 
it's more likely that it's either a configuration issue or there's 
something funny about the entry.

I don't use genericwiki and I'm not running PyBlosxom 1.1 either.

When you say "from pyblosxom.sf.net webpage", what version of 
genericwiki.py are you actually using?  There are two contributed plugin 
packs on the download page--one for PyBlosxom 1.1 and one for PyBlosxom 
1.2.  Beyond that, I'm not sure where else you'll find it--but I don't 
know for sure.

Also, can you tell what entry it's choking on?  It'd be nice to see the 
text of the entry.  That also might help.
