The value for flavourdir is a string, not a list of strings.

So change it to this:

py["flavourdir"] = "/data1/www/blog.woodpecker/pyblosxom/flavours/"

Beyond that, I'm having problems reading your emails because my email 
client flakes out with the base64 encoding, so I haven't read beyond half 
of the stack trace.
