hi all. i'm planning to start using one of the many plugins that preserve last modification time, so that entries aren't reordered when you edit them after they're posted. i'm planning to use one of the plugins that keeps last mod times in a separate file - either rememberdates or HardCodeDates. is anyone using either of them? is one more up to date or better supported than the other? (the rest have drawbacks, at least for me. some (e.g. metadate) use metatags, so they need to stat *every file* to serve a page request. ugh. others (editfile, fixfiletime) reset the last mod time after you edita file. i keep an editor running for long periods at a time, so those aren't appropriate. then there's entrycache, which seems to have disappeared altogether. :P) -Ryan -- http://snarfed.org/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Using Tomcat but need to do more?
