I've had some friends play with it already. One of them posted a fake spam to 
see if I would delete it. I've found that I may have a problem with that as 
the comments have apache as an owner and I don't have rights to delete them. 
It's not my server. Is there a way around that? Someone else suggested I 
write a server script that can show me a list of comments and allow deletion, 
obviously with password or other protection.

I keep meaning to get into Python so that I can do more with pyblosxom, but 
never find the time. Although I program for a living it's on other platforms 
(Oracle, Magic and, mosty recently, .net/C#) and not web-related.

I'm also wondering what tools people use to monitor their comments. I may look 
at the email notification, but it would be nice to have something that reads 
to comment files and extracts the XML. That would allow me to see who is 
posting the most comments and have access to their email addresses for direct 
correspondence.

I wouldn't mind something for the front page that listed the most recent 
comments.

I realise I've been using pyblosxom for nearly 3 years now, but have not 
explored all it's potential. Maybe people on this list could post short 
articles on their favourite features or to highlight some of the less well 
known ones.
