OK, I'm beginning to get a feel for this now, the RSS and Atom
flavours are for giving to remote clients so they get feeds whereas
the (very plain) HTML flavour gives a local user the ability to use a
browser to view the blog.

I'm very much aiming to use pyblosxom as something like a personal PIM
and note taker with no serious aim of expecting outsiders to be
interested.  The initial prompt for doing this is that I have just
been made redundant and a blog of some sort seems an ideal way to
record my job search, applications, etc.

I had already been using rest2web to keep notes written in
reStructured Text.  It feels like pyblosxom will be able to replace
rest2web, I've already copied my rst files into the pyblosxom data
directory and without any tuning it works satisfactorily.

I suppose I do (sort of) mean anchors but since they refer to other
source .txt files (or .rst files in my case) they aren't really
exactly similar to anchors are they?  If I create a new file in a
directory called tools how can I put a link to a file in another
directory - say to linux/pybloxsom.txt?
