'Static' files as in pystaticfile.py plugin

Will (or anyone else for that matter)

Have you ever come up with a better name for 'static' as used in the
pystaticfile.py plugin?

I'm writing a plugin which will parallel the pycategories.py plugin
but for the static files tree (with some obvious changes from
pycategories.py of course).  It would thus be good if I there was a
better name than 'static' before I plaster variable names with
'static' in them all over my new code.

I can't really think of anything very good, all I have thought of so
far is things like:-

    nonblog (or notblog)
    fixed
    undated (but it's too long)
    const[ant]
