Mediawiki is more widespread and familiar -- if only because its used by Wikipedia. The reason to use Moin is because it's Python is because its the best Python wiki out there. The only people I know who use it had a Python implementation as one of their criteria when choosing a wiki. Mediawiki is easier and more familiar to more people. That said, I would totally support moving to either.
