I have tried several times to get plugins working with tagging and have
never had any success.  Over about six months I think I've got a
collection of half a dozen plugins that all purport to be tagging
plugins, but none of them ever worked.

I'm using static rendering and the plugin you mentioned --
http://t3.dotgnu.info/code/tags.py -- generates a screenful of python
errors if any of my entries have "#tags blah" in them.
