My current stand is, the less library dependency, the better, that's why
comments should now work without PyXML installed. But, it would make a
nice RSS renderer substitute example like:
http://roughingit.subtlehints.net/pyblosxom/development/creatingxmlfeeds.html and http://roughingit.subtlehints.net/pyblosxom/development/latestcommentfeed.html

Which uses the minidom, and xmltramp to create a renderer substitute for
generating RSS2 compliant feeds.

I guess, with the PyRSSGen, creating such feeds would be even simpler.
(I will include an RSS2 feed flavour example, BTW), it's in my TODO
list.
