Yeha well, some of that code are really pyblosxom specific, like getting the request via the global registry in tools.get_registry :) The entry trick are actually python specific. How it works is due to the flow of pyblosxom, like cb_prepare will always be called no matter what, and cb_story is only called when rendering an entry. So there's no need to do data['dospath2uri'] again there.
