I've fixed the code so that it reads the your files (or other files, 
chinese for example) nicely. Although, to be xhtml compliant, you have 
to code them in proper entities I think. Oh well, anyway, this should 
help other people out there. I've also added a configuration option call 
blog_encoding, so you can change to latin-1 or gbxxx and other encodings.
