What you can do is to use
py['default_flavour'] = 'shtml'
for example, and this would override the need for .html to be the
default flavour. Or you can use .htm as your files as suggested in other
mails.
I'm thinking of providing a callback for getflavour() so that one can
override it to, say, use one file for a flavour, instead of the minimum
4, that's needed for each flavour.
