Getting rid of firstDayDiv?

Hello, 

My pyblosxom installation seems to be calling the firstDayDiv.py plugin
though I do not have a date_head.html defined, have not declared it in
config.py and have removed the plugin from the /contrib/plugins
dir. Still I get output like,

<div class="blosxomDayDiv">
<span class="blosxomDate">Sat, 18 Oct 2003</span>

Any ideas why this is happening?
