setting default flavor?

	i'm using the debian package on 3.0 testing/unstable.
	unfortunately this makes the installation docs a little
	irrelevant. anyway, i'm using the default content 
	location of /var/www/pyblosxom, and i've copied in a
	set of flavor templates from the example directory.
	i've set up a vhost directive in my apache config to
	point a particular domain at the content dir. the
	only way i can get things to work happily is copying
	the pyblosxom.cgi file to the content dir, and setting
	a .htaccess file to serve that as directoryindex, etc.
	is there a more elegant way to do this?

	anyway. my flavor doesn't get used. if i pass ?flav=whatever
	to the script, it works fine. but not by default... is 
	there a nice way to force the cgi to use a specific flavor,
	or set on in the config? i wish i knew python better, as
	i could figure this out myself (and eventually will, i
	guess). but i didn't think it could hurt to ask...

	anyone use the debian package? i'm thinking about 
	installing from the tarball.
