Well, I've finally gotten some time do something with my blog. (Or more accurately, my wife has decided that she doesn't have time to maintain a journal anymore, and so she's started posting to the blog, and now I feel that I have to maintain it. ;) So, I've upgraded to the 8.1 release: http://roughingit.subtlehints.net/pyblosxom/weblogs/tools/pyblosxom/pyblosxo m-0.8.1.html with Ted Leung's patches to comment.py: http://www.sauria.com/~twl/code/python/pyblosxom/pyblosxom-ecto/ and I've subscribed to http://weblog.latte.ca/index.xml in my RSS reader: http://www.rssbandit.org/ Now, the question. RssBandit has the "Ability to view comments posted in response to news items on sites that support the wfw:commentRss element": http://www.sellsbrothers.com/spout/#exposingRssComments So, is there any way to get an RSS 2.0 feed of the comments for a particular article, so that I can stuff that url into the wfw:commentsRss element of my RSS 2.0 feed? I notice, furthermore, that if you try to do a get on the commentAPI.cgi: http://www.latte.ca/cgi-bin/commentAPI.cgi/amy/everythingelse/040120 it gives you back an error message. Perhaps this could be changed to return the RSS 2.0 feed of comments on an entry if there wasn't an RSS item passed in? Thoughts? Does anyone who's a little more familiar with the code want to take a crack at this, before I completely mess it up?
