Hello Bloggers!

I try to get pyarchives running, so far wit no success. Without loading
pyarchives.py everything runs just fine. As soon I load pyarchives.py, I
won't get any information at the right (there should be pycalendar,
booklist, pycategories).

My config file looks like this (made pretty formatting only for this
mail):

  py['load_plugins'] = ["pycalendar", "booklist", "pycategories",
                        "wordcount", "pylogrequest", "pyfilenamemtime",
                        "pyarchives"]

The code from foot.html is as provided with pyblosxom-0.8.1, no changes
here:

  <span class="rightMenu">Archives</span><br />
  $archivelinks<br />

The Apache error log shows me some problems with Unicode in tools.py
(made some pretty formatting for the mail):

I have (not yet) enough knowledge of Python to track down the problem
for myself. Right now, the site (www.chaes.de/blog) runs without
pyarchives.py loaded.

I'm running Python 2.3 on a Debian testing/unstable w/ kernel 2.2.17
(not updated recently :-) Webserver is Apache 1.3.26

Searching Google didn't shed light for me so far. Any help or hints are
greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
