Installation troubles / python2.1

I was testing pyblosxom on my dev machine - it worked great

I uploaded it to my server - there were no stories, but a header and footer.

After much sidetracking into file permissions I realized that pyblosxom 
uses file().  And since its in a protected try block I never say the 
"file" command not found error.

Since the server is running python2.1 I put a few
file=open
commands here and there, and the cvs version (seems) to be running ok

Looks good so far.

Are there any other python2.1 issues that may creep up?
