Mmm...  seems to work for categories, but not entries.  So if you look at:

   http://.../foo?flav=bar

it works fine.  But:

   http://.../foo/entry?flav=bar
   http://.../foo/entry.bar

both fail.  I'll look into it because that seems buggy.
