I haven't done this (and I've never used Moveable Type--sorry), but to all
the folks out there who have done this or have some experience, this is
the perfect topic for our wiki.  So if someone could take some time to
write out a quick process, what tools to use, where to get the tools, and
such, please please please do.

People will love you for it.  It's an issue that pops up at least once a
week.
