Between the title and the body of text entries, you can add lines in this form: #name value That becomes metadata. I use this in the registry plugin. For example, that draft plugin you wrote--the entry file for that is this: %<----------------------------------- draft #url None #download http://david.ascher.ca/software/pyblosxom/draft.py #author David Ascher This plugin lets you work on postings in a 'draft' mode where only you (or people with the secret password) get to see them. When you're happy with the post, you rename it and it goes live. %<----------------------------------- "draft" is the title line. The three lines that start with # after the title line are metadata lines and populate $url, $download, and $author.
