I was just throwing an idea to this mailing list. I propose a slight change in the current text message format (subject line followed by # lines and then the body) to the email format. It would have a few benefits like a standard way to encode the date, multiple line meta data, etc. We can all roll our own parser plugin. But if enough people want this, it would be better than having everybody defines their own format. Anyway I do have a plugin, which I attached a few days ago. But it is not of quality for general use. Maybe we can have an experimental plugin category with the caveat attached.
