Oops--sent that a little too early.  It can't write the comment because
the permissions on the directory are wrong.  It depends on how you have
your web-server set up and the Unix groups and permissions involved.  So
you'll sort of have to sort it out by yourself.  If worse comes to worse,
you can just open up the permissions on the directory to 777.  That's a
really really terrible idea, but it'll make the problem go away until you
figure out how better to setup the permissions.
