Trackback can't return a XML message

Hi.
I'm trying to install comments for using trackback
("How to install comments in PyBlosxom").
But, when I send a trackback ping, PyBlosxom return
undefined message below.
<html><body></body></html>
When I send it without a "url" data, I can get a
defined wrong message.
<response>
<error>1</error>
<message>not trackback</message>
</response>
Would you gime me advise?
