Within a few minutes of finishing this longwinded post, I solved the
problem. Sorry.

I set up a .search flavor, and things are working. I'd try and explain
what my confusion was, but I've taken enough of your time already.

Now I'm just dealing with the fact that ht://Dig's output is not
XHTML, and some of the problem tags are in the source itself.
