markdown plugin?

hi,

is there a pyblosxom plugin for Markdown?
(http://daringfireball.net/projects/markdown/)

markdown is a text-to-html tool,
like textile...

bu for example in Markdown newlines in the source text
are not implemented as newlines in html.

(in textile , '\n' becomes '<br/>'....or is there
a switch to disable that?)
