I implemented the secret number anti-spam technique on my new pyblosxom
blog (http://www.tahoeblog.com/). I think I am now convinced this is
better than blacklists. It is much easier to implement and only slightly
less convienient for users. Plus it works.

The hardest part about deploying it is that the Python Imaging Library
(PIL) doesn't seem to compile cleanly on Fedora. I actually had to hack
the C source code. Not fun. If you are thinking about trying the secret
number hack, I suggest getting PIL working first.

The only feature request I have is that an error message is produced when
the wrong secret number is entered. Right now nothing happens if the
secret number is entered incorrectly. I am considering how to hack this
in, but an simply redirecting a specific URL probably isn't bad option...

I thank the authors for the nifty work on this plugin modification...

Christopher
