The new version 1.0 of Qizx/open. is available on Axyana Software's site:

Qizx/open 1.0's main novelty is a completely new API similar to XQJ,
providing remote access to the XQuery engine. Note: full compatibility 
with XQJ
will be implemented after publication of the next XQJ Specifications.
