Lighttpd vs Apache 2.x

I've made some simple tests to compare Apache and
Lighttpd for scgi connections. Results are on the

I've given as much as possible details to let you
install, compile, configure it your self.
This will allow you to evaluate Lighttpd your self
;-).

Concerning stability, I've never been able to crash
lighttpd. 

With low level parameters like 
server.max-keep-alive-requests,
server.max-keep-alive-idle, ... you can tune it in a
very efficient way.

Personally, Quixote+lighttpd is a very flexible and
performante combinaison.
