The implied relationship here is probably a chain between an online "presence" (Dan's SO page), the entity (Dan), and the entity's homepage (http://danbri.org). So, it's not really conflating the page with Dan, it's just compressing a string of predicates into one relation. Much like foaf:workplaceHomepage.
