The BIO vocabulary is a first attempt at addressing some of basic
aspects of genealogy.

There's no such thing as GEDCOM 6.  There was a beta draft for a
while, but it was withdrawn by the authors before ever being
finalized.  Their current work is based around a centralized database
approach which obviates the need for a interchange standard.
