Hi, I posted the original email to the foaf-dev mailing list because ResourceMe can be used to build web pages for the semantic web. The framework adds support for triplestore access to the PHP template engine Smarty and also contains JavaScript classes for this purpose. But it's not only a triplestore API. Access control is also included. The access, per triple, can be granted to foaf:Agents. The framework supports different authentication modules, but most important is WebID, former known as FOAF+SSL. That's why I also posted it to the foaf-protocols and WebID mailing lists. The WebID people have to care about the problem that in the decentralized web everybody can create a foaf file containing public keys for WebID in many different ways. This application gives a deeper insight what's happening during the authentication and describes everything in RDF using the EARL ontology [1]. The RDFa output should give the user hints how to fix a problem if there is one. The RDF part of the output is important for automatic tests of the endpoints. An automatic test can create situations where a failure is expected and check if the endpoint detects its. Also the support of additional features can be tested. You can find the test described using EARL in this file [2]. the bergi [1] http://www.w3.org/TR/EARL10-Schema/ [2] https://dvcs.w3.org/hg/WebID/file/cfe2b9d82c74/tests/earl/test.n3 Am 18.07.2011 18:37, schrieb Bruce Whealton: > Hi. > I tried the site and selected Application>WebID > and it came back with Test: The client provided ax509 certificate > Outcome: http://www.w3.org/ns/earl#failed > > I try to keep up with all things happening on the Semantic Web (at least > to understand the basics about everything being discussed) but I have to > admit that I am not sure what the application of this is. > I could be off but I know that the Web of Trust area is something that I > need to get up to speed on... not sure if this is related. > Bruce > > > -----Original Message----- From: Henry Story > Sent: Sunday, July 17, 2011 11:27 AM > To: bergi > Cc: WebID XG ; foaf-protocols-RyYwo1q5J+qsOXdr9/[email protected] ; > foaf-dev-RyYwo1q5J+qsOXdr9/[email protected] > Subject: Re: [foaf-dev] [foaf-protocols] ResourceMe project page + RDFa > EARLWebID endpoint > > Excellent work Bergi! > > (( Sorry to take so long to reply, I have been taken in by both BrowserID > research and sucked into Google+ whilst also trying to write some code > ... )) > > The tests look great.
