Philippe,

Who proposed the charter and why did it include unacceptable policies?
Thx.

Maintenance of the Web Services Description specifications

Folks,

some of you might know by now that the proposed charter for a Web
Services Core Working Group will not be approved by the Director, due to
its incompatibilities with the W3C Patent Policy. The bottom line is, in
order to maintain the specifications, we'll have to restart a Web
Services Description Working Group. The plan is to only do so if
necessary,

Regards,

Philippe
