WSDL -- Description or Definition?

Several documents, including the W3C Note at http://www.w3.org/TR/wsdl, are
inconsistent on the meaning of the "D" in WSDL.

 

For example, the title of the W3C Note, "Web Service Definition Language
(WSDL)" is inconsistent with the heading "Web Service Description Language
(WSDL) 1.1"
