As hard won as the first definition was,
From Reqts: [Definition: A Web service is a software application identified
by a URI, whose interfaces and bindings are capable of being defined,
described, and discovered as XML artifacts. A Web service supports direct
interactions with other software agents using XML based messages exchanged
via internet-based protocols.]

I like this new one in the draft better...
From Draft: [Definition: A Web service is a software system identified by a
URI, whose public interfaces and bindings are defined and described using
XML. Its definition can be discovered by other software systems. These
systems may then interact with the Web service in a manner prescribed by
its definition, using XML based messages conveyed by internet protocols.]

Good catch.

The definition in the glossary[1] is the same as the one in the
requirements document[2].

However, the architecture document uses a slightly different one[3].

Editors, any idea where it comes from? I think the natural thing would
be to use [2].
