TAG "Architecture of the World Wide Web" new draft published

I strongly encourage participants in the web services architecture community

This document is one of our "non-normative references" so we should track it
as it evolves. Also, some issues have been raised as to the consistency of
the Web Services Architecture with the Web Architecture, and this is the
authoritative reference on what the "web" architecture is.  AFAIK, asertions
about the "principles of the Web architecture" that are not stated
explicitly in that document are not constraints on the Web Services
architecture.

This draft employs some organization/presentation ideas we may wish to
borrow.  For example, there are graphics at strategic points through the
document highlighting the "Principle", "Constraint" and "Best Practice"
being discussed.  This seems like a useful device, both to remind us of what
we're trying to get across to the reader and emphasizes to the reader the
normative status of the specific point we're trying to make.    For example
(IMHO), it's a "Principle" that web services use XML to describe their
public interfaces and bindings.  It's "Best Practice" to use WSDL for this
purpose.
