Don't worry. I myself found it very confusing at first. In order to make it
work the actual action is often hidden behind some wrapper, or in turn uses
some wrapper to provide a consistent view, and input/output/state get
shifted around between action arguments and message parts. But after doing
it wrong the first time, it was easy to get it right the second time.
