I very strongly believe that [email protected] is the appropriate home for
this and similar topics and would appreciate it being moved there or
somewhere
else. This list is where the WSA WG does its technical work. I assure
all
concerned that the work is subject to careful scrutiny by the W3C team
and management to ensure that we operate within the framework of the
charter approved by the W3C Advisory Committee.

I expect that we will be cutting off tangential discussions here in much
the same way as the TAG has been forced to do on their public list, in
order to maintain a reasonable traffic volume and focus. Critique of WG
draft documents is welcomed, specific, realistic suggestions for
improvement are especially welcome.

I confess that I have been too willing to chase trout down rabbit holes
myself (to mix our favorite metaphors!) but will resolve to avoid the
temptation in the future. Appropriate slaps with a large trout are
appropriate if I backslide!
