TAXONOMY & DATA MANAGER

Overview of the Position 

Early-stage company building a transformational application in the online
recruiting space has an immediate opening for a junior to mid level Taxonomy
& Data Manager to join our team. This position will be responsible for
managing the development and maintenance of the firm's CRM system as well as
the content used on the site. 

Primarily, the Taxonomy & Data Manager will work closely with the research,
marketing and site development teams to monitor, maintain and evolve the
site's content/taxonomy.  The Taxonomy & Data Manager will play a key role
in driving the site's data standardizations including internal data
management with the firm's CRM system.

Position responsibilities will include:

.         Work with the research team to build taxonomy structure to
accommodate for various industries and sectors; 

*	Work closely with the technology team to ensure data structure
maximizes site's match algorithm;
*	Responsible for data collection from outside business partners and
input of data to site's taxonomy
*	Work with technical team to improve data management tools and
processes 
*	Monitor site's user profile entry and feedback
*	Participate in user sessions to gather feedback
*	Responsible for implementing Salesforce.com and best CRM practices
for firm.

Desired skills and attributes:

.         Understanding of taxonomy, metadata, controlled, vocabularies, and
classification. 

.         Has a strong understanding of relational database design and/or
development. 

.         Excellent Excel spreadsheet skills 

.         Worked with Salesforce.com.

.         BS Degree in computer science or comparable degree is strongly
preferred.
