Eric, You know I love ya, but that survey is so poorly organized. Your poblem is so much more complex than experience that it really can't be handled in this survey. I think your hypothesis is false. There is nothing chemical in human reaction that is not also blatantly nullifiable through behavior and culture. I have also seen the exact opposite occur, when presented with B&W wireframes the client saying they really like the minimalist approach and then expect that to be the final design.
