Exclusive to Zebra People we are working with a really impressive agency in the search for a Head of User Experience. This is a great opportunity for a senior User Experience consultant to take the step up, develop and shape their own team and discipline within this small but fast growing agency. As head of User Experience you will report to director level and work closely with project teams, prospective and existing clients. Working alongside the Lead Creative you will help shape the user experience methodology and process as well as oversee UX work on client projects. Specific responsibilities include: * As the UX lead you are expected to be creative and visionary in your approach * Adept in all software that act as your day to day tools you will also be researching online apps and tools that can speed up work and processes * Being a hands-on member of project teams as well as managing and delivering UX and IA solutions for clients as part of the wider project team. * Owning and developing the company's UX methodology, overseeing all UX elements of client projects, from user research to IA and testing * Developing the companies UX capability including developing and managing other UX resources (internal and free-lance) * Awareness and understanding of current trends and emerging technologies that our shaping the future of Digital Media * Be a member of the management team - involvement in management meetings and helping to shape and develop your department within the wide business * Taking part in business development activity including supporting the development and delivery of bids and pitches * Confident to present ideas, solutions & pitches to clients My client has strong traction with the Broadcasters, and as well as traditional web based products these guys are known for their ability to deliver VOD solutions. Personal Skills They are all about building an excellent and high performing team and business. Personal attributes are as important to them as technical skills. You should be highly motivated, hard working, good fun and enthusiastic about your work. We are looking for people who are equally happy rolling-up their sleeves and getting stuck-in as they are mentoring and directing others. You will work well with people and form strong connections with the rest of the team and your clients. Required Experience * Significant experience in the delivery of UX services as part of an agency or consultancy * Significant Information Architecture skills and experience * Business development activities, giving presentations and writing bids and proposals * Defining and managing the scope of projects, including budgeting Most of all we are looking for someone who is ready to develop our UX and IA capability as part of the development and growth of the business.
